EXCURSION TO HENRY PITTIER NATIONAL PARK

Henry Pittier, also known as Rancho Grande, was the first national park in Venezuela, founded 1937. It is located between the states Aragua and Carabobo, about one hour away from Caracas.
Among an exuberant vegatation, like fog- and rainforrests, plantation of mangrove trees, vegetation of savannahs and semideserts you will find more than 500 different species of birds.

The excursion in this park, which offers a perfect combination between beach and mountains, lasts for 3 days and 2 nights. You will have the option to extend your trip for one more day, if you would like to spend more time at the beach of Chuao.
