About 2,5 hours away from Caracas, between the Unare lagoon and the caribbean sea, you find the beautiful hostel SOL LUNA Y ESTRELLAS, where its owners, Marian Brant and Ruben Cevallos are looking for your visit. The hostel has a swimming-pool, a barbeque area, a place for playing bullets, a beach pavillon and restrooms at the beach. The cuisine is really excellent: you find fried lebranche fish, fennel chicken, and gratinated pumpkin.

 
With its 23 km sunny coast, Boca de Uchire is the perfect place to enjoy the sea and to do watersports. At the Unare river you will be able to watch the old fashioned procedure of breeding fishes and of course you can also delight them. The Unare lagoon, a place which is covered with a various nature, shelters the most beautiful birds of this region, the Coro Coras, Cotuas Negras or Garzas Blancas, just to name some of them. And if you like to spend a day out of your bathing clothes, you can visit the colonial town Savannah de Uchire which is placed near to the mountain area.

 There are 8 standard rooms: 5 with four beds and 3 doublerooms, all of them have individual bathrooms with hot water, some have ventilators and the others have air condition. Sheets and towels do exist
